Energy
Research applying AI and data-driven methods to the energy sector - supporting the transition to clean, reliable, and autonomous energy systems.
Topics: smart grids, consumption forecasting, and renewable integration for energy autonomy.
Where the next generation of researchers meets the future of AI. Sarajevo. 15-16 October 2026.
For two days, Southeast Europe's largest AI gathering becomes the meeting point for the people building what comes next - engineers, founders, industry leaders, and the researchers whose questions push the field forward.
The Kiss the Future Research Stage is how your work joins that conversation. We're inviting students, early-career researchers, and research teams to share original contributions across AI, Energy, Sustainability, and Intelligent Systems, in three formats: research posters, oral presentations, and tiny papers.
Two awards recognize outstanding contributions: the Best Poster Award, and the Best Emerging Researcher Award, which includes a mentorship at Blum Institute, Bosnia and Herzegovina's first dedicated AI research institute.
AI Summit - Research Stage
All submissions must fit one of the following four domains. If you're unsure where your research belongs, choose the area closest to your main contribution.
Research applying AI and data-driven methods to the energy sector - supporting the transition to clean, reliable, and autonomous energy systems.
Topics: smart grids, consumption forecasting, and renewable integration for energy autonomy.
Research that uses AI and digital tools to address climate change, mobility, and the shift to a sustainable economy.
Topics: climate modeling, green mobility, and circular economy optimization.
Research on autonomous and embodied systems that perceive, decide, and act in the physical world.
Topics: autonomous drones, robotics, and electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure.
Core research advancing the foundations, capabilities, and responsible deployment of artificial intelligence.
Topics: machine learning foundations, generative AI and large language models (LLMs), and ethical AI governance.
Choose your format
Choose the format that best fits the stage of your research and how you'd like to share it.
Best for: completed research that benefits from visual presentation and direct conversations with attendees.
Share your work as an A1 poster displayed at the summit. Authors of selected posters will be invited to present in person and discuss their research with attendees. Posters should clearly present your research question, methodology, results, and conclusions.
Best for: completed research papers and findings worth presenting in depth from the stage.
Present your research live during the Research Stage sessions during Kiss the Future AI Summit in Sarajevo, on October 16th, 2026. Each speaker has 15 minutes for the presentation, followed by 5 minutes of Q&A. Oral presentations should clearly walk the audience through your research question, methodology, results, and conclusions.
Best for: work-in-progress research and hypotheses, ideal for early-stage researchers and exploratory work.
A short summary (max 500 words) of new or ongoing research. Tiny papers should clearly present your expected or preliminary results, and the conclusions drawn from the current state of your work. Selected papers will be featured in the Tiny Papers collection by Blum Institute and Bloomteq, and authors will present their work at the summit.
