Blum Institute Statement on Gaza, Peace, and Solidarity

Blum Institute acknowledges that a peaceful demonstration took place during the AI Summit in opposition to the war in Gaza. While the AI Summit is a technology-focused event without political affiliation, we respect the right of participants to engage in civic advocacy and express their views.

We affirm our strong commitment to peace and stand in solidarity with all those affected by the war in Gaza. We recognize the serious humanitarian impact of the war, including the immense suffering of civilians, and we are deeply aware that the AI Summit unfolds in a time of global challenges and humanitarian crises.

In particular, we wish to highlight our awareness of the tragedy endured by the Palestinian people, and we state clearly and unequivocally that we oppose genocide, along with starvation, repression, and every form of violence against civilians in Palestine and around the world.
